Seashocker
General Overview
The Seashocker is a large dragon belonging to the Tidal Class. Inspired by deep-sea creatures such as manta rays and electric eels, it is a stealthy and highly dangerous aquatic predator. Unlike most dragons, it does not breathe fire, but instead uses powerful electrical attacks to stun and paralyze its prey. Traveling in coordinated pods, the Seashocker is especially deadly when hunting in groups beneath the ocean surface.
Physical Appearance
- Body & Color: It has a wide, flattened body resembling a manta ray, usually in deep blue or teal tones that blend perfectly with ocean depths.
- Head & Face: It possesses two heads, similar to the Hideous Zippleback, each focused entirely on hunting and predation.
- Appendages: It has small front flippers and a broad body that allows smooth gliding through water.
- Wings & Tail: Its large wing-like fins act as both wings and swimming surfaces, while its dorsal fins are sharp enough to cut through ice.
Abilities and Combat
- Electric Bite: Instead of fire, it delivers powerful electrical shocks through its bite, capable of paralyzing even large prey.
- Electrical Charge: It can build up and release strong bursts of electricity in combat, making it extremely dangerous underwater.
- Sonar Detection: It uses sonar to locate prey in dark or deep waters, allowing it to hunt even without relying on sight.
- Bioluminescence: It can emit light to attract prey or communicate in the depths of the ocean.
- Ice Cutting Fins: Its dorsal fins are made of dense cartilage and can slice through thick ice, allowing access to trapped prey.
- Pack Hunting: It hunts in coordinated pods, surrounding and overwhelming targets with synchronized attacks.
Behavior and Personality
- Intelligence: It is a strategic and cooperative hunter, capable of working with others in complex group tactics.
- Temperament: Seashockers are aggressive predators, especially when hunting or defending their territory.
- Behavior: They prefer deep ocean environments, using stealth and sonar to ambush unsuspecting prey.
- Social Traits: They travel in pods similar to dolphins, making them far more dangerous together than alone.
- Diet: Their diet consists mainly of deep-sea fish and other marine creatures.
