Flightmare
General Overview
The Flightmare is a medium-sized dragon belonging to the Mystery Class. Known for its ghost-like glow and terrifying reputation, it is one of the most mysterious dragons in the archipelago. Rather than relying on brute force, the Flightmare uses speed, defensive tactics, and a paralyzing toxic mist to immobilize its enemies, striking with precision before they can react.
Physical Appearance
- Body & Color: It has a slender, ghost-like body covered in glowing scales and tiny spots that make it resemble a living night sky.
- Head & Face: Its head is lined with tiny spikes and has an eerie, spectral appearance enhanced by its natural glow.
- Appendages: Instead of ordinary spines, it is covered in tendril-like extensions along the ◄ BACK, head, tail, and wing tips.
- Wings & Tail: It has translucent wings and a split tail, giving it a graceful but unsettling silhouette in flight.
Abilities and Combat
- Paralyzing Mist: It emits a toxic mist that temporarily paralyzes victims from head to toe, leaving them helpless long enough for the dragon to strike.
- Glowing Body: After consuming glowing algae, it can greatly intensify its body glow and use it to blind or confuse enemies.
- Green Acid Blasts: It can also fire green acid projectiles, especially when it has not recently fed on glowing algae.
- Speed and Agility: It is extremely fast and maneuverable, capable of keeping up with swift dragons and dodging attacks with ease.
- Mist Trail: It can leave a lingering trail of toxic mist while flying, turning the surrounding air into a hazardous zone.
- Lethal Spines: Mature individuals can develop deadly tail spines used for offensive purposes.
Behavior and Personality
